COVID-19 Response and Community Support
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, Domino Plastics Manufacturing, Inc. quickly adapted to meet the needs of the community and beyond. Recognizing the immediate demand for personal protective equipment (PPE), the company modified its workspace and began producing contact barriers and face shields for first responders, schools, healthcare workers, and businesses. Domino Plastics was instrumental in supporting the reopening of Bakersfield’s businesses and schools by supplying over 700,000 face shields donated or sold to hospitals, first responders, and essential workers.
In addition to face shields, Domino Plastics also developed thousands of acrylic contact barriers, which played a critical role in safely reopening essential services.
